Ok I have the samsung drive - kreon v81 and xbc2.4

This happened on graw2 and TMNT - both brand new disks and giving the same error message - Are there issues with these new disks that the samsung can't handle? Has anyone uses the samsung to backup these games. I tested one of my older games and it back up fine so the drive is still working? This worries me that I won't be able to backup the new games!!

A pop up after failng reads:

Read error has occurred in the file system data area.

By the way both games go until around 50 percent before failing!

I solved my question - Actually I used schtrom 3.2 and it extracted it just fine - looks like xbc 2.4 still has some bugs.

Backed up both of those games other day and played them with no problems so far. Same hardware you've listed...

Did you unlock the drive first?

Do you still have to unlock the drive in xbc2.4? I did not try to unlock the drive. Although now that schtrom is working perfect I will probably stick to that.

i always press the unlock drive button when i do them, then again i still have not upgraded from the last version.
