this is for all idiots and noobs.
first off lets check if the original will work with our burned game
in the psx or ps2 make it play the music from the original.
you will need only 1 bit of information
how long is the first track?? remember how long it is!!
now go back to the browser in your ps2 or psx
use a swap method and play that first track again...
if it is longer than the original it will not work now if it os shorter or the same length continue.....
to play burned psx on fat ps2 you will need:
slide card
steps:
1. put the ps2 into browser
2. EJECT the tray and put in an ORIGINAL psx game
3. once the ps2 recognizes that a psx game was inserted use the slide card to open the tray NOT THE EJECT BUTTON!!!!!!!!
4. replace the original psx disc with the burned one
5. use the slide card to put the tray back in NOT THE EJECT BUTTON!!!!!!
6. after about 10-15 seconds press x on the controller to play burned game
to play burned psx on slimline ps2 you will need:
the flip top mod or any other way of swpping discs without your ps2 knowing it
1. go to the browser
2. put in the original psx disc
3. wait till it is recognized
4. swap with burned disc
5. wait about 30 seconds
6. press x on controller
MAY NOT WORK ON SLIM PS2 I HAVEN'T TRIED
play burned psx on gray psx
you will need
something to keep the psx from knowing the tray is opened
1. open up the psx and put in an original psx game
2. turn it on
3. (this requires lotz of speed) everytime the cd spins just a lil bit slower swap discs. keep swapping between the original and the burned everytime it slows down until the burned game boots. too slow and you will boot the orignal.
playing burned psx games on white psx
you will need
a dull pencil or butter knife
1. open the tray
2. put in original
3. use your pencil or butter knife to hold the button the tray usually holds
4. turn it on
5. count how long it takes from power on till it says playstation
6. reset it
7. 1 second short of how long it took before take it out and quickly put in the burned game
8. wait till it says playstation MAKE SURE IT HAS THE LOGO LIKE IT SHOULD. IF IT DOESNT IT WAS BURNED WRONG OR IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH BOOTING FROM THE ORIGINAL YOU USED. CHECK THE TOP OF THIS POST TO CHECK FOR COMPATIBILITY
