Is the Slim PS2 a dust magnet or something?

I noticed my games like God of War 2 have like dust rings all over the discs from where I guess the game is read. It's definitely dust since it wipes off but like I don't get how they make perfect circles or how the dust got there in only a few days. I just cleaned the system not to long ago. Is the Slim models dust magnets? I don't remember my fatty ever getting games that dusty or even dust really building up in it. Explain please.

well, is your house or the place you have it sitting dusty? Remember the PS2 has a fan, so it will draw in whatever is around it. But i can tell you that my slimline doesn't do that.

It happens in tropical and moist regions due higher tempratures and humidity.
