I just got a 2.71 psp that came in the psp entertainment pack with lords of Dogtown and atv off road fury. I think it has a ta-082 motherboard correct me if im wrong it says 1c1003 in the top right and some writing i cant make out to left and down a bit. I would like to downgrade to 1.5 the to 3.03 oe-c because i have heard that is the best one..right?
please tell me the safest way to downgrade without bricking. Also if i follow the instructions exactly what are the chances of bricking.

oh and i have tried eloader but didn't like it so i'm emulating 1.5 with devhook right now but i find it kind of a pain and i would rather run custom firmware.

anything that messes with flash has chances of bricking ur psp, there isn't really a % for it. u just have to follow instructions correctly
