hiding / removing unwanted channels

In the bouquet menu i can get the channels hidden and locked so it doesnt show wen going through all bouquets normally. But wen pressing channels up n down its still showing the hidden and unwanted channels e.g. 20 bbc 1s etc. is there any way to get rid of them permanantly?
