hi i`m thinking of getting a ps3 soon but i realy like f1 games but i was wanting to know how good this game really is ,at the moment i have a 360 but they dont have f1 games

i have the F1 game and i love it
graphics are someing amazing
and it uses the 6 axis controller perfectly
i recomend this 100%

I'm not really an F1 fan, but I have the demo and raphics-wise, it's spectacular.

simply amazing.... i play 10% of the races and each one takes about 30 mins including qualifying.. anyhow hte race evolution parts lets you tune the car just the way you want it.. The only problem that i find is that when u miss a pit stop you are screwed. next time you try to come in no one will service your car.. i dunno if it is a glitch or what . overall the game is sweet.

Well there is a 2 track downloadable demo, so if you know anyone with a PS3 get them to download it for you.
I Tried the demo and could not see a lot of differance from the PS2 version, apart from better graphics etc. but it seemed very simular to the PS2 version. sam driving aids etc.
The extra comentating was nice.

It's no way realistic, yes it may look better, but the physic's are the same. I would say at best its 10% better. It's no where near as good as GT tho.
I'd prefer to have a game that played well over graphics.
Plus its imposible for it to be 1000% times better, I would not even says its a 1000% than the spectrum 48k version. and I'm not a dumbass just for stating my opinon.

Gotta agree with the general consensus here and say the game is awesome. The graphics are quality and really give you the sense of speed your driving at, which is like nothing else ive seen in a car racing game.
The gameplay is great too, although a couple of minor niggles. Well worth a buy though. It easily squashes the ps2 version, contrary to one such opinion above, infact its in a different class. Best f1 console game ever. I'm not even that into F1, gimme motogp any day of the week!

I was not saying it was bad, if your into F1 its the best yet. and if you liked the PS2 version your love this.
Just saying you don't get the same sense of driving that you get in GT4. Plus to say any SIM is not going to be relistic.
maybe none of you have done real track days.

How embarrassing... Is that the best you can do to back up your claim. As if track days makes a your opinion superior, and i would respond by telling you how close in proximity i am to a well known race track and taken them up on all sorts of different track days. But i won't. Cos i'm not a loser.
Just accept that i think the games good and you don't. But don't value your opinion above anyone elses cos you've had track days.
Infact I'm sure you've never driven an F1 car with race car settings. You're not Damon Hill are you? Hes a pratt too.

I was not stating my opinion is superior, just stating that no game if ever going to be close to real life. and driving any real car is a bigger buzz then F1 on a console.
I never said I had driven a F1 car. was just saying GT has a better feel.
Plus was just rectifying that I did not say it was crap.
and putting a different opinion on the subject, if only fanboys replyed to posts asking if a game was good, what the point of that.
you would buy every game and then get disapointed.
I'm glad I did not buy Ridge Racer and playing the demo. and I would be pissed of as that game is deff not my cup of tea.
F1 is much better. it does what it says on the tin. but thats it.
F1 is F1 after all nothing new, well not 1000% that's all.
