Burnout Legends/Dominator Trax

i have burnout legend's UMD for my psp and i recently dumped it to my computer and i like a couple of the songs in the game. but when i scroll to the dumped games (dominator and legends) and to the TRAX (songs) folder, they all are in .mus format. how can i convert this to mp3 to something like wma so then i can have mp3? and i've searched google and all it talks about is converting mp3 to .mus not the other way around which is what i want. also this is a mp3 sort-of .mus extension, not the Myriad sheet music type. i've tryed some simple things like opening it with iTunes and trying to convert and changing the file extension to both .mpg and .mp3 with no success, any ideas?

p.s. i have also tryed: audacity, GAP (Game Audio Player), Myriad with all no luck
