My psp has 2.0 firmware and can someone explain to me how to get my psp downgraded to 1.5 and then upgraded to the 3.03 so I dont have to use devhook or anything like that? thanks!

There's a 2.00 Dgrader at my site. Also, got to 3.03 OE-C.

Do I have to update to some other firmware before I can go to the 3.03? This message is attached with the link on your site. "Upgrade to 3.10 OE-A' AFTER upgraing to 3.10 OE-A"

no you dont have to upgrade to anything before you upgrade to 3.03oec from 1.50. but if you want to go from the previous version of a custom firmware (ex. 3.03oec) to 3.10a then yes you will need to upgrade to one of the 3.03oe versions.

Heres instructions from this site how how to downgrade a 2.00/2.01 PSP to version 1.5

1. Copy all content of eloader099.zip to the root of your memory stick.

2. Next open the 201DG.zip file and copy the PSP folder to the root of your memory stick.

3. Next copy the v1.5 Update EBOOT to ms0:\psp\game\update\
You may need to create the UPDATE folder

4. Now run the downgrader via eLoader.

5. To downgrade, you need to select the set to v1.00 option (the Circle button).
This will fake your PSP to version 1.00.

6.Once you've completed the process, you can run the v1.5 Update EBOOT, directly from your PSP's Game menu.

To do this you will need the following files....

eLoader ver. 0.9.8

This version (http://dl.qj.net/eLoader-0.9.8-Windows-Installer-PSP/pg/12/fid/9819/catid/114) will copy all the needed files onto your PSP's memory stick.

This version (http://dl.qj.net/eLoader-v0.9.8-ZIP-PSP/pg/12/fid/9820/catid/114) is essentially the same thing but requires you to copy all the files onto the root of your memory stick yourself.

You will also need this (http://dl.qj.net/index.php?pg=12&fid=9928&catid=114) Fanjita's easy 2.00/2.01 downgrader

To upgrade to one of the custom firmwares go to this thread, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/460892 , were you can find Winstallers for version 3.03 OE-C and 3.10 OE-A. The Winstallers are a very good option to use if you are unsure of how to go about upgrading to a custom firmware.
