Can i upgrade to 3.03 OE-C with TA-082 ?

well i have read a topic about downgrade 2.71 FW with ta-082 to 1.5 but can i upgrade to 3.03 oe-c without the risk of bricking ( i know there is alwyas a risk but im talking about ta-082 ) ???
sry if this is a noob question :D

I did it to my Buddies and it worked fine. Once your TA-082 board has been patched it shouldn't be at anymore of a risk then any other PSP.

Hey I also have a 2.71 TA-082... Could you possibly give me a link, or tell me how i can path my psp and then upgrade to DA's 3.03 oe-c?

I recommend the Noobz downgrader, it works for TA-079 thru TA-086 Mobos and if you have a 1C003 board it will patch it for you before it installs FW v1.50
Heres an article that should explain everything. You will need the unpatched GTA: LCS to do this, buy it used or rent it.

Ok.. so i downgraded my psp to a 1.5 (props to vaindetta for the help) and now I want to upgrade it to DA's 3.03 oe-c, I downloaded:

But the Readme file is a little to complicated for my liking... I believe it is telling me that i have to copy files to my psp that doesnt come in the download? Can anyone check this out and see.. better yet ill paste the instructions on here.. and let you guys take a look.
This is the 3.03 OE-C update.
It can be only installed as a full installation, due to some substantial changes in the bootstrap.
Both, update maker and the flasher work in 1.50, 2.71 SE (whatever version), and 3.02/3.03 OE (whatever version)
The instructions are as always:
- Copy oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you are in
2.71 SE, 3.02 OE or 3.03 OE. Copy also the 1.50 and 3.03 updaters with the names 150.PBP and 303.PBP.
- Execute the update maker. It will generate the dxar file.
Checksums of the generated file:
CRC32: 27A38F3A
MD5: 95C84F1F20643FB29E5F7DFFF6D04291
SHA1: E4CE6EB16F90F0F667071085416C10B0BEA7CC22
SHA256: 1C72C1BE3C7E03E56F127AF365B8AA0B6C8C7A70BFF30E2770C222E28D1CBBFE
- Copy 303oeflasher and 303oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME (1.50) or to /PSP/GAME150 (2.71 SE, 3.0X OE).
Copy also the dxar file inside 303oeflasher.
- Execute the flasher and follow the instructions.

The problem with those instructions is this: Copy also the 1.50 and 3.03 updaters with the names 150.PBP and 303.PBP. Where do i get those? do they magically appear out of thin air or what? also! Copy also the dxar file inside 303oeflasher. Where do i get that?
Your help would be greatly appreciated... Just a noob wantin the goods :P

the 150.PBP and 303.PBP are both the Firmware updates.

This actually made it all make sense, I was all fired up and ready to go, and then i go to start the updater from the PSP.. and it stops and says that it cant open 150.PBP and then goes back to the XMD... why? any thoughts on this.. please feel free to come forth with them lol

in my XMD under Games, i have two things a corrupted file that says it wont play the game, and the 3.03 update maker.. when i go to use the update maker (oeupdmaker and pbp's on psp mem stick) it loads it up wit hthe PSP logo: loading psar dumper for use with psar extraction.
Opening and checking 150.PBP
Cannot open file.
Then it restarts and goes back to the game file in the XMD
Weird..

This is where I done the exact same thing since we were all noobs once...psp-hacks.com then go to the forums>tutorials>then there should be a thread that says downgrade every psp up to 3.03 then go in and its like a noob guide...P.S. follow EVERY step or you will possibly brick your psp... your welcome

@jeremey r u using ur 32mb? the update will not fit on 32mb mem stick u should do it in a larger size of mem stick
Download the 1.50 Upgrade Eboot, name it "150.PBP", and put it in the oeupdmaker folder.
Download the 3.03 Upgrade Eboot, name it "303.PBP", and put it in the oeupdmaker folder.
On your PSP, run the 3.03 OE-C Update Maker program. This program will create a file called DATA.DXAR in the oeupdmaker folder
Copy the directories 303oeflasher and 303oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME if you are using 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you are using 3.0X OE
Move the generated DATA.DXAR from oeupdmaker to 303oeflasher directory
you batt must have 75% or plugged in
i just loggd in after 2 months,,,im here again and ready to help and be helped!!

yes! but again you can't upgrade to 3.03oe-c using 32mb mem stick
there are wininstaller by hexitnow use it to downgrade
i just loggd in after 2 months,,,im here again and ready to help and be helped!!
