ok it's a long story.

i bought it over to my friend's house to play some games. then the disc error screen came on. I took my ps2 apart to focus the lens. while i was doing it my firend's little bro came up and kicked the case, while he kicked the case the ribbon came undone. my psp is a SCPH39001 and it's moded. i took my friend's ps2 apart and put his ribbon in my psp and it didn't work (his ps2 is SCHP50001). i'm thinking that his ribbon isn't compatible with my ps2 and that i need a 39001 ribbon. or i lost it for good? can someone help me

lol when i mean ribbon i mean the cable that lights the ps2 (green, blue, and red). like it wouldn't turn on

it fell out. i don't know if it's broken or not. i can take a picture of the ribbon. it's bended like several times in the middle.
