My friend said something about an elf file that you put on the memcard that loads burned games. So you put it on the memcard then go to the browser, and click on its icon. Then it loads your burned game. Now this is better than the swap magic swap if you ask me but I cant find it! I have been searching but still no luck. Does anyone know of what this is? Thanks.

EDIT- would it work if I just put the swap magic files into a folder on the memcard, as if it was a game save?

Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

1st question - No such thing.
2nd q. You can put a swap magic elf file onto your mem card, but you need to somehow get to that file, e.g. using mem card exploit or ulaunchelf. You cannot load it from the browser screen.

Hmm, well thanks. I talked to him and he misconstrude some of the facts. He was actually talking about something else.
About "You cannot load it from the browser screen", so theres nothing that you can put on the memcard to launch other elfs on the card?

Well, you load an FTP connection or some other form of routed connection from your computer to your memcard.

Yip Ulaunchelf. But it cannot run straight on an unmodded ps2. Either need something like swap magic or chip or any other exploited ways of running homebrew.

Well I have swapmagic 3.6 but it would be more convinient to be able to just launch apps from the browser than to have to use SM. So whats Ulaunchelf? Is it like a elf browser?

Pretty much.
And you probly need a modchip to load stuff from the browser menu. (Dunno never dealt with ps2 chips)
