Why do people find this so difficult was i lucky or something the first time i burnt a game in 2002 it worked.
You should burn at half the maxumin speed but i always tend to do 4x no matter what and it works.

I am luck Dazila, I was good right from the start. Then again i started out using 4X discs burned at 1X, then moved up to 8X discs burned at 4X, and now i just do both 8X and 16X at 4X speed and have no problems.

I know that other Fifa games needed to be rebuilt or patched to work with Swap Magic, so it may not be the burn speed, but the game that is causing it. Also what brand of media do you use, if it is low quality do not expect your games to work well no matter how you do them.

We're not living in the year 2000 anymore, the dyes used in media is much different now, sometimes you'll get worse burns if you burn high speed media at slower speeds. Verbatims are one exception to this rule though.

There are several different dyes out there, not just the purple junk...

to make it simple, buy media that use AZO or MCC dye and stay away from CMC dye if you can. This guide is a much better way to tell what you have
http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
and if you stick to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden you will not have problems with your media like other brands (such as Sony) where you can get the Sony name but the dye could be of various brands and quality because they outsource some of their media. You can not depend on some companies that outsource.
