I have a two gig but when I open it on my compter it says 1.85 gigs..how do I get that 0.15 gigs back????sony got me but they still got OWNEDwith the psp....

my 1gb official sony memory stick= 956 mb
my 2gb fake sony memory stick = 1939 mb

The reason your 2gb has 1.85gb left is because the memory card needs some space to be able to function. The bigger the memory card the more space is taken off. So even if you format your 2gb memory card you will never have the full 2000mb. Its just how it is.

In short, you format the memory stick you lose space. You need the memory stick formatted to use it so you will always lose a some space.

So why dont they make space enough to even it out and get 2.0 GB....?
D= BASTARDS We should sue them for 0.15 GB....but then we'll get busted for our psp's???? when does the 8 GIG come out???

so the more u format the more space is lost? darn cant even afford a 2gig(too expensive in our country)

8 gigs out already $250US
sounds pricey..not really back in 2005 i bought
a 2 gig sony $199 now they are 40 bux on sale

you dont need to buy sony memory sticks you can buy a sandisk memory stick (a real one ,not the fakes from ebay) and it will work as good as the sony memory sticks,and they are not so expensive

Some one beat you too it, except this was Western Digital not Sony and Hard-Drives instead of Memory Sticks but same idea.
