LOL Maybe we should give him a crack, you know one of those that turns his computer into a turnip. That would be funny. Actuall while going through the forums today I found 5 requests for cracks / hacks. When will they ever learn AD is not a crack room so why do they keep coming here asking. AD rules are simple and fair. They are looking out for both themselfs and us and I have no problems with that.
I think requests for hacks / cracks should = forever ban with no exceptions
Do you realize that the second reply(above) is just as illegal as possessing bootleg software. The post that started that "XP Black Ice Edition" was not asking for keys, or anything else related to illegal activities. The member asked if anyone else hase experienced what they are experiencing. Maybe some of these admins or senior members should have there accounts evaluated. Being rude and acting like Gods is not a good image for AfterDawn. You Idiots need to learn to read and stop putting your ideas in others posts. A forum is to help other when no other help can be found. Last resort. Why? Because 90% of admins and senior members are jerkoffs that think everyone else is below them. Realize one thing.....I AM GOD.... not you.

Tough.. If you don't like it go somewhere else and ask for cracks or keygens and see what sort of reception you get.
The fact that the pirated software you downloaded said no serial or key required is irrelevant. There was probably an .nfo file with details of what to do with it.. or you have been trapped into downloading something which has been tagged by the copyright owners and uploaded to catch people attempting to obtain pirated software.
Afterdawn at least gives n00bs a chance to learn that it isn't allowed.. Ask on one of my sites and get an instant IP ban.. NO explanation, NO notification, NO appeal.. Nothing.. A complete block.
Perhaps it could have been handled better, but the rules are there for all to see.. Whining about being told off for breaking the rules doesn't impress anybody, we have heard it all before. You click a box to say you have read and agreed with them when you join, and we all get so fed up with the same rule being broken time and time again that things get said that aren't always as well thought through as they should be.
Before you continue consider this situation.. On most sites you would not have the opportunity to sign up again and complain. I'm only a senior member here, but an administrator on 4 other sites. While I agree with the membership policy here I think it could be a little more strict when it comes to idiots. That's not us seniors and above, it's the juniors and n00bs who think rules don't apply to them.. I know the rules apply to everybody having been warned about something only last night. Nobody is perfect, but some are more perfect than others.. You break the rules then take the consequences.
Get over it.. and DON'T ask for cracks or keys again.. That way everybody stays happy.

Aw and I was gunna reply to this during ICT this afternoon - I would have got to him first too ;-)
I think it's a case of.. "don't like it, p!ss off!". The rules are there for a reason; one of which is to keep the cr@p off AfterDawn that (ex)members like yourself bring here. Maybe if you'd read them in the first place then you wouldn't have had to post this and have a hissy fit over it.
And please, don't confuse my honesty with acting "god like" in any way.

old news but a Gherkin is in the City of London
It's 25 years since the City of London last got a new office tower, and it's never had one like the Swiss Re skyscraper - known as the Gherkin for its unique shape. Only now officially opened, it has already become visual shorthand for the capital.
