problems ripping a dvd with smartripper

Hi this is my first post here ever.

whenever i rip a dvd to my hard drive using smartripper (the VOB files and IFO files). the picture is clear but theres no audio? has anyone had the same problem if so what can i do to fix it????

What do you mean by that? You have tried to watch the VOBs from HDD using WinDVD or similiar, or...?

no i rip the VOB and IFO files using smartripper then whe i play them on windows media player theres no audio

WMP, uhhh... Get a real software, please :-) WMP probably gets the first audio track by default and my guess is that in your case, its DTS or AC3 audio and Windows doesn't come with audio codecs to play those by default.

well for sum reason the audio has come back now?!??! and i used DVD2AVI to make it in2 a .d2v file and the .wav file....now what do i do??
