Does anyone know where you can buy a dreambox2 genuine. As most of the Ebay sellers are now fakes.

Anyone got an idea of price.
I have looked around and can not find them cheaper than £150 or 210 euro in germany. Found them in spain for ?160 but I can not read spanish to find out if they will send to Ireland.

are the 600 series a newer box / same functionality or am I missing something

go to the dreambox website its dream multimedia and they have a list of geniune resellers, otherwise go to wizardsatelite http://www.wizardsatellite.co.uk/index.p...ndex&cPath=3_65

the difference between the 500 and 600 is the 600 has an ide interface to allow you to connect a hard drive

so for cable descrambling. Which one has the most following. I have heard most poeple talk about the nokia or sagem Dbox2 for viewing but have not heard most people talking about the Dreambox DVB-500C for viewing Nagravision2.

So would you say that for a newbie that the Dbox2 is a better buy. It has more memory so to take all images and there is no issues about buying a clone.

I take it the nokia are no longer produced.

Does anyone know where is best to purchase a Sagem Dbox2.

Are they any particular drawbacks of this box. It is as easy to mod from factory defaults

Sorry for all the questions

If you want a Dbox2 get a Nokia, too many problems with the cheaper Sagem. There are no factory defaults as such as the firmware is already modded.
