well its been about a week since I've tried making back-ups work now but I always get "invalid PS2 Disc" error wen i hit load program on Swap Magic 3.3. Some games I've tried are Madden 07, NBA Live 07, Narutimett Hero 3, Bleach Blade Battlers, and Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time. I tried burning with Nero and DVD Decrypter at 4x with Memorex and Sony DVD+R blanks. My PS2 (console/version #?) is SCPH-30001...the big bulky old $300 PS2...ne1 kno how to fix this?

--btw, wen I hit load program the red laser in the PS2 keeps blinking for about 15 secs then it says Invalid PS2 Disc (if that helps at all)

most ea games have to be rebuilt for them to work with swap magic.if some of those games are over 4.7gb or even over 4gb should be rebuilt.try that.also get rid of the memorex dvds because they're making it worse.whats the media code on the sony's?

The sony one is DVD+R Ver. 1.1/1x-4x...I also triedTDK, Imation, and Fujifilm which worked on my friends MODDED PS2 but not mine (altho with these I culdn't see the right light from my PS2 and it didnt make "buffer" noises)

all of the things you tried are made in taiwan.taiwan makes the worst media ever and that is why you need made in japan media.now nba live 07 should be rebuilt to work i think.buy sony DVD+R 8x because they are taiyo yuden branded and that is the best media out there.and when using DVD+R booktype them.the media here is the main issue.
