I am downloading it right now but wanted to know if it can be used with a softmodded xbox i have unleash X dash rite now from a linux hack in mechassualt. If it cant be used what is the best way of getting XBMC as my default dash??

yes slayers will work, but the obviuosly the console has to be already able to read burned media(ie. softmod) which you already have. just remember to change everything you need before restarting, or before you do anything make a copy of your c and e and eeprom on your hdd in case somehting happens wrong and you can always re-create your hdd if needed.
