I know this is a total newb question but, what is a bricked psp and how can you fix it?

1. stop posting in bold, it gets on nerves fast
2. start searching before asking questions
3. brick means ur operating system files and stuff are screwed, there is nothing u can do

You can buy a UP chip and then use that to reflash your NAND chip with official or CF again. Brick solved, however the chip is not for the faint hearted and it is extremely difficult to install and expensive.

You could also just simply replace the motherboard which is easier i suppose but i would go for the UP as then u can buy bricked psps of ebay for cheap and then give them life again.
