Difference between DVDFabDecrypter and the paid versions

I could not find out from the website: what is the difference between the free DVDFabDecrypter and the paid versions of DVDFab (Gold and Platinum)?

the free one (dvdFab decrypter) only rips the dvd to the HDD

the pay ones are actually like all in one program, meaning it rips,encodes,burns

The paid version you can also use the clone option for DL disks but I don't know if it works very well compared to imageburn or dvd decryptor.

I like this program. I tried out the trial and burned several SL movies with it. After using DVDFab Decrypter tons of times I thought it would be reasonable to buy one of Fengtao's programs. He only has the two purchaseable programs and free DVDFab Decrypter.

I've used Dvdfab Gold and I like it better than Slysoft's Clonedvd2.

It's well worth the money!

I am sure that Dvdfab Gold and Platinum are excellent programs. But most of us already have several programs that can burn data to DVDs and similar. What we are looking for is something that can rip the data off these copy protected DVDs so that can backup them for our own security.

So my original question was to find out in what way the ripping capability of the free DVDFab decryptor was inferior to the paid versions. It seems that it apparently is not. So purchasing the paid versions would only be for the convenience factor or to thank the author, both of which are good reasons in my opinion. But as far as ripping capability - unless I am wrong - there is apparently no significant difference. That is what I was trying to find out.

i swear by DVDFab Decrypter (freebie version) purely because i'm only interesting in ripping movies (main movie or full) - prior to using DVD Shrink, so for me personally there's no need for all the extra features. (there's even loads of features in the free version i've never used/never will)...
