3.10 oe-a' and videos at native resolution

I thought that the 3.10 oe-a' firmware enabled users to play videos off the memory stick at the native resolution of 480x272. I tried encoding a video with those specs with a bit rate of 450 kbps and it gives an error and will not play. Does the limitation of length x width being restricted to 76800 pixels still stand? Is it possible to get videos to play at anything better than 368x208, 416x176, 320x176, 384x160, 480x160 or 400x192 for a 16:9 video?
