Ok, I have 1 quick question

1. I have been trying to install a large hdd on a softmodded xbox i have the password but
when i put the drive in the xbox it gives me 6 in the uper left corner of the screen
i Am SURE i have the correct password

from my eeprom i have the hdd locking password but not the hddkey

and i dont have the eeprom.bin because i lost it

i think you will probably need the HDDKEY
what kind of drive are you upgrading to?

that drive isn't lockable anyways so you wont be able to use it....

Why are only upgrading to a 40 gig. You can get reasonably priced 200 gig drives now.

let me guess sid 4?? when i was using sid 4, it would never let me use any hdd other than stock always gave me error 6, but then i uninstalled the softmod and reinstalled sid 2 softmod asnd everything worked for me np.
