soooooo my ps2 is old SCPH-39001
and i have never had a problem out of it until suddenly, it stoped loading discs, nothing before hand had happened so im kina like WTF.
i took of the casing to get a better look and what happenes is this
1. it will attempt to load the disc and just bairly turn and stop about a fith of a rotation. the laser comes up then instantly back down.
i have got it to work again but its a 1/40 chance so far.
any ideas
o and theres a black mark on the ribbon but it doesnt look like it was damaged any.
