i watch teh sopranos on my computer, and i download episode by episode. sometimes, when im using the same torrent, some episodes will work, but some won't, and on media player it says it could be due to the codec. i downloaded the xp codec pack and i still have this problem, what can i do?

also, with those videos that dont work, i cant burn them or change them to dvd's using winavi converter.

WMP and WinAVI both use directshow. So if one can't decode, then the other won't either.

Try the files in mplayer or VLC.
