Newbie needs a couple of pointers on audio ripping

Ok, I'm fairly new at ripping, etc. and I'm doing pretty well with several of the all-in-one programs I've been using. I'm content with the outcome, but have one area I still need help with that will apparently require me to do it the 'hard way'.

I've been able to rip direct DVD-to-DVD and DVD-to-Divx, but the software I've been using for making divx files only allows for a single audio stream to be ripped for the final outcome. What I wish to do, and why I need advice from the more experienced, is to rip a second audio track by itself, and then add it into the final file so I've got both to choose from. What I am trying to do, if specificity will help, is to rip the director's commentary track and then combine it with the existing divx file. In my test run, I did it backwards. I've got the movie with the commentary, but not the regular audio track. The file came out at about 635 megs, so I've got about 65 megs left to add the other track if I still want it to come in at or under 700 megs so it'll fit a single cd. Can anyone suggest what software would be simplist to do these two functions and a brief description of what to expect? Any advice is appreciated. Thx. :)
