I tried to back up Cradle to the Grave and Maid In Manhattan. I have used both Shrink 2.3 and 3 beta 5 also tried DVD Decrypter. I get perfect video and no sound at all at any time (while viewing movies from HD). I haseen some post referencing this, but they all have to do with a person choosing to keep this audio stream or keep that audi stream... Well, I kept all audio streams, as a matter of fact I didn't compress anything, I left every thing checked so that I would be sure not to lose anything. Cradle to The Grave's audio is all AC3 2 and 6 ch. So there is no DTS to comment about. And to keep everything short, I tried to copy 'just' one extra, which was DMX's video! Well, the ifos vobs bups. came out... video was clear and NO SOUND! Some have said... well your PCs software may not allow you to hear the audio... so I burned the short DVD 'DMX'x video which is an extra on Cradle 2 The Grave' and played on 4 standalones, one being an APEX which will play a peanut butter sandwich if you put it in there... and no sound! Can someone give some CONCLUSIVE answers! Is there something I am missing? Is this some sorta new encryption 'thingy' like RCE going on, and everybody thinks that its... Oh well, your doing this wrong.. or, The audio stream this or the audio stream that...!?!?!? Give me some answers!!!!

I backed up that same movie, no problem. Check my numbers -
My trick is that I've stayed with DVD Shrink 2.3, I always "Open Disk" first,
then reboot my computer, starting with a new slate so to speak -
If my movie is small, I still remove all foreign languages (even though they are under 1MB - your movie reads them as 0MB and yes, it will still read 4,327MB)) then I compress the whole movie to level #1 (5%)
That will bring it down to 4,147MB.
DVD Shrinks loves to compress something - give just a little something to do -
Burned it with Nero 5.5 -
Try that recipe ?
If it?s not working then, check for conflicting software.
I couldn?t use Roxio and had to clean some programs from running in the background thru msconfig.
