ok so i looked around a bit and i learn that it is possible but those threads are pretty old so i just had a couple questions.

I'm currently running 3.10oe-a but i only have a 32mb memstick right now so i was wondering in order to run my iso's do i have to downgrade back to 1.5 and run devhook or can i just run it on the custom firmware. and either way will devhook, etc even fit on my 32mb?

devhook shold fit, but then the 32 wouldn't hold any games. just buy a mem stick, 2 gbs are like $40 these days. mem sticks are cheap now
