Good DVD-R's to use for SCPH30001 v3 PS2?

I searched around, and I can't find much information regarding what specific DVD-R's or DVD+R's to use. I have a SCPH30001 v3 PS2, and I've heard that that specific model is limited in what DVD-R's will play on it. Anyway, my question is in the topic title, so thanks in advance.

recommend ones are:taiyo yuden,verbatim,sony,maxell,fujifilm,ritek

that't not it though.taiyo yuden are only availale only and are guaranteed made in japan.always buy things made in japan.verbatim and ritek are the only good companies from taiwan that i would recommend as grade A media.sony,maxell,and fujifilm are excellent only if it says made in japan on it;if it says made in taiwan look for a different package with japan on it.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to go with 16x Maxell DVD-R's because my DVD burner works well with those.
