Playing DVD+R on my DVD player

I am using an HP 300i dvd burner and using dvdxcopy express. I am having problems playing the discs on my sony DVD player. I think the problem is that the dvd is formatting in dvd-rom mode rather than in video mode. I was wondering how i can fix this problem whenever I use DVDXCOPY.

dvdxcopy does not format into -rom. your problem is probably +r media as it is not as compatible as -r. If the disc plays with the dvd player on the computer, that is probably the problem. You may check the compatibility of the player. Xcopy questions are best in the xcopy forum http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/
