Ok so i have windows xp home edition service pack 2 and for the past month or so my computer shuts down while im in the middle of searching the net it just turns off like when you pull the plug it dont shut down just goes black and turns right back on and it dont do it again for atleast a few hours to a few days sometimes its odd cuz well i have removed tons of trojans and hackers out of my computer and spyware and well i searched my computer with my anti virus program nuting is ever found all the stuff i ever find is in Spybot search and destroy and trend micro anti spyware and another odd thing is with all this the browser goes nuts sometimes it will scroll up and down on a website without me even touching the mouse and it will stay doing that for a few seconds and my system responses are kinda low but i cant seem to find any traces of viruses but i know there is one in my computer somewhere cuz if there isnt why is my browser and windows doing all that they are doing inless i didnt get rid of the hackers can someone please let me know what they think

well people may ask you just to make sure to download hijack this and post results then that will tell people if you have anything in your system

Well i have HijackThis in my system and the results dont display anything to be wrong but when i scanned my comptuer with AVG anti-spyware plus and these were the results displayed ill post that on another reply cuz its pretty big so its in the next colum under this

hnostly if your computer is acting funny do you have a quickrestore/or maybe its called recovery cd that came with your computer you could always do restore, it wipes all data off and restores everything to new that is what i would probley do,remember to back up all data or maybe some one else on here can help you in a diffrent way.those are just my opions

I would do that to i usually do when this kinda thing happens but i dont have the recovery cds anymore for my computer and hp isnt selling them right this second cuz there out stock so i need to be able to do sumthing else for the meantime or just deal with it the way it is but i cant have attackers getting my keystrokes and pulling credit card numbers off and passwords or anything cuz that would be bad

what hp type of computer do u have because i have a recovery built in my system all you have to do is press i think its either f10 or f11 and let it load it will load a recovery and go to advanced options then let it restore but that is on newer models maybe models 2003 to now one way to tell is go to my computer and if drive d says recovery you have it then
