I have a slimline PStwo and when I try to get online with a burned copy of tony hawks american wasteland, it wont get online. It give an error saying "could not connect to external network device". Now if I try to put in another original game such as ratchet: deadlocked, it wont get online either saying "there was a time-out while attempting to connect to the network". Now if I reset everything including the router, it works fine. But if I try to get online again, low and behold it cuts the internet. Has anyone had this problem before? If so, how did you fix it?
EDIT- who knows what happened to the original disk. I had to get a disk image from a friend cuz the original has appearantly ceased to exist.
EDIT again- it works fine, it loads fast and everything. Its just the online that wont work.
EDIT once again- I just found out, I made a thread about this before but never got it to work. Heres the link: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/350930#2066596 but some of the info in there is of questionable correctness because I may have been confused with the +, -, r, rw, etc.
Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?
