euro-vox mzzx channels not showin

hi all just brought a euro-vox and did a scan it pics up channels but only show the bbc channels whein i put it on eg. living tv all it says is code being updated, can any1 help with this?

Press MENU goto LANGUAGE SETTINGS, press 1968 and you should now see two extra options. emulation should be set to enabled.

when i go 2language settings all i see is

menue language
1st audio lang
2nd audio lang
subtitle lang

Sounds like the firmware needs updated, check the link in my signature & you will find the latest files for your box. You need to register to see the downloads.

im not gettin itv1 though, by yr experience which 1 do u think is better? dbox2 or this evo box?

dbox is better but theres not much point in buying a dbox when you can buy a dreambox,there basically the exact same exept any dbox you get will be used as they dont make them anymore and the dreambox will be new.but theres little or no differance between dbox 2 or dreambox,make sure you get the 500-c model for cable

k thx 4tht, im still not gettin itv and mtv base and the crime channel does these boxes hav a service file? i live in northampton so wat feq would i hav to scan on 2get all the channels?
