cuz in the weekly ad staples got it for $25
its a great deal

PSP's take Memory Stick(R) PRO-DUO's...which that happens to be. So yes.

Also I have one just like that.

Actually, I've seen what you're talking about, and that wasn't the photo SanDisk Memory Stick for $25, but yes, that is a great deal, provided the PSP can use it.

So, can it use a photo mem stick? Even when you format it first?

Its either a Memory Stick PRO-DUO or it isn't.

Yes, the Sandisk PRO DUO Memory Sticks with "Magicgate" do work in the PSP. They have a blue "photo" version and a red "gaming" version. I do not know what the difference is, but I bought the photo version and it works great. The going price for a 4GB stick at the moment is around $73.
