How can I create a dvd with saves to upload to my memory card?

My ps2 refuses to read cds anymore.So I decided to create a dvd instead. I managed to create a dvd with the saves(option files since I am talking about pes6) that I wanted (.npo) and it booted alright and I also copied the option file I wanted to the memory card.

My only problem the way I see it is the cddvdgen doesn't let me have the whole name of the file; it has a minimum number of characters.

Please help me.
