hi i have vista and a ati radeon express 1150 card. When i try to play AVI files i get sound but no video. Mpeg files work good but not AVI.

probably need a codec. Are you using VLC by any chance?

no, wmp or real player but thanks i fixed it, i downloaded the k-lite codec so it works fine now.
