Hey ive got 2 problems i need fast help.

I downloaded metal gear 3 echelon version.

1. When i try to extract the file it opens up 001. to 006. great but then it gets stuck but i still have the metal gear iso, isnt that strange? And it only takes me about 30 seconds to extract a file that is 074. files.. it should take more 10 minutes or something or what?

2. i tried to burn it with imgburner the iso file i dont think there was any problems there but it wouldnt play on my ps2. I tried burning on both max (x8) and half the speed (x4)

i have matrix infinity it plays ps1 games backups without problems so i guess its wrong with the file please help.

1. what is the size of the ISO it gives you after extracting
2. what brand of DVD did you use and what is the max speed on it
3. 30 seconds is WAY too fast for an extraction, it would take more like 5-10 minutes depending on your PC

ECHELON releases are usually pretty good, but you may just want to get a different release so you do not waste discs

yeah thanks for your reply.

i still get the right iso size 4,35gig so its strange. Like you/i said it should take somewhere between 5-10 min at least, but still i dont understand why it extract the first 5 files perfectly then on the 6th it stops and i have to stop the whole process since it hangs up. strange. But i put it on Daemon Tools and all the files seem to be there so it is a ready iso image i think!?

i use tuff disc 8x i burned at max speed with image burn which went to 4.7x at max i think so half the speed anyway. I heard that you are supposed to burn at regular speed, that it didnt matter that much if you burn on 1x or 2x the tokijin guide amongst others..

Any ideas help!? this is my first time burning so... i have Nero now also. any thing...?
