I Want to know if I can rewrite a 2x, 4x, CD-RW in a CD-RW Drive of 48x. I Also want to know which one is better for me to buy: the CD-RW drive of 48x or the one with 2x,4x

1. Wehen you talk about RW burning you need to consider RW burning speeds.... when you say CDR-RW 48x that refers to the burning speed for CDRs not CDRW discs. Most modern CDRW drives burn RW discs at 24X or faster

2.2x and 4x RW technology is ancient... the average CDRW disc you buy will be of the 4x-12x variety.

3. Brand names do matter when it comes to burners... Might I reccommend an ASUS 522452A burner?

ASUS A8V Deluxe, A64-3500 @ 2.65
1GB KingMax PC3700
640GB [4x160GB, 7200, 8MB]
XFX 6800GT 256MB
