huge ISO - can I load from external drive?

I am on 303oe and want to know if I can load ISOs from external drives (eg PC or archos)? I have the ridge racer iso but it is huge (1.4Gb) so cant get it on the psp memory card without deleting everything else.

My ridge racer ISO is only 500MB, just shrink it down
