I'm about to sit down to try and mod my PS2 with a friend (have the Crystal Pro 2.0 chip), but I'm having trouble finding out *exactly* which version I have, for the sake of the wire diagrams. I have a silver slimline and I know it's version 15, but the code is SCPH-77001ss. Everywhere I look online seems to suggest there should be an 'a' or 'b' after the numbers to be able to determine the version, however. Can anybody advise? Thanks in advance!
The letter should be a lower-case A or B after SCPH-77001, but it's very hard to see, especially with a silver console, as the writing is in gray, and the sticker is silver. Try that.
