Well my friend gave me his broken Ps2 that he didnt want, so I thought I might be able to fix it. he told me the problems he has was that the Place where u plug in the AC Cable was loose and that the Ps2 was not reading any disks. he told me it was modded. So I opened the thing up and I found the modchip, so I just pulled all the wires of the modchip off and took it out.

After I took out the modchip. I was putting everything back and then by accident I pulled a wire (the one that comes out of the big Black thing on the ps2) Picture http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/7329/picture46tl5.jpg

I couldnt put it back into its place again...so I just left it like that.

and I checked the small yellow place where the Power Cord Goes into..and it was loose.. someone told me I have to solder it back onto the board...but I dunno where I have to solder from...

and last of all...after I took out the modchips wires from the points...the silver stuff still stayed on some of them...Is that a problem..?

and when I start up the ps2 there is nothing on the screen..just blank black screen...but I do hear the Disk spinning...

I need As much help as I can get.... Please....

well you can get rid of the "silver stuff" with a desoldering wick and a soldering iron (get 15watt one) and just place it over the solder and place the iron on and itll suck it up

Alrite Thanks, How about the Power thingy(the yellow square box). Got any Tips on how I can make that tight again, Where do I solder.
