Hey! Just wondering if anyone knows whether you are able to get blank cds that are longer than 80 minutes (at least 100 minutes or more if possible). Thanks :)

You can get 74, 80, 90, and 99 minute cd-r blanks.

74 minutes is the standard length in the CD specification. Any more is non-standard. CD time stamps are two digits (binary coded decimal, in case you were wondering), so exceeding 99 minutes isn't possible except by re-using earlier time stamps, which is going to make the disk VERY non standard. (As in, most drives won't burn it, and it, even if one did, it won't play in most drives). You'd be on the edge of the disk by then in any case.

Many burners can't even get to 99 minutes anyway.

But, why do you need a larger CD? Do you need to listen to more music or need to burn a large cue/bin image?
Because, if it so, you can fit an image large 846,720,000 bytes on a 80' CD, not 700 MB (734,000,000 bytes).

Because I'm trying to make a CD of the songs from a couple of concerts I went to (Foo Fighters and U2) and the length of the songs played at each concert is longer than 80 minutes :)

Now you know why you get double CD sets... The CD format was designed for 74 minutes. 80, 90 and 99 minutes are stretching it farther and farther.
