how do I find which generation my PS2 console belongs to? it's numbered 30004. and also which laser pickup model goes with this generation fo consoles? cheers

http://www.mod-chip.com/en/ps2version.htm to check for your ps2 version.

And I think you're laser model is a KHS-400B. I could be wrong.
