Is there any program for 1 step encoding? Just rip the dvd, tell the program where the vobs are and wait. When it's done you have a divx movie. Are there any programs that can handle that or do you have to do multi-step fashion with multiple programs?

Well unfortunately these kind of problems are common with DVDx, especially with the NTSC discs.

Try checking - unchecking the Audio / Video Synchronisation at the Input Settings window.

If this doesn't work you can maybe fix the problem later, after the encoding.

Last be sure that you are using the Lame codec that comes with DVDx 2.2, since with that I haven't got any problems.

Agreed the problem may be somewhat common but the solution is incredibly easy to come by! LOL. Simple trial and error with the various input rates will let you find out quick. And if in doubt you can always do a quick 2 minute encode. UK_MEWZ... i cant remember if sent you that guide.. if you still want it you know where to find me.
