I got my slim system chipped last Friday, and on Saturday, inserted a backup of a game... paused it to go eat, came back and the screen was hung and grey... I resetted the system, and now, it keeps dropping to the system menu, and when I try to use browser to read a disc, it says cannot read disc... any suggestions?

I wish I could offer advice. If it makes you feel better, I've lost about 600 dollars trying to get a working, modded ps2. That's enough to get a ps3. Some of us just have crappy luck. I wince everytime I read about other people's experiences, where they've never had a problem in years. I feel HAPPY for them, but I still wince. Exactly when was I cursed, anyway?
