Some games not loading. FW 3.10 OEC

So recently I bought a PSP and have 3.10 OE-C FW and some games won't seem to load. I get the game loading screen and sometimes the auto-save feature warning but then it says loading but the MS light is no longer flashing and it never goes anywhere. It is not a matter of a bad ISO/CSO and I can get other games to work.
I have heard something about upping the mhz of the CPU, but I wanted to ask your opinion before I do that.

go into recovery mode (hold r while booting up)
go to configuration disable use no umd
put any umd in the drive try loading game.
that should fix your prob

3.03oec and 3.10oe have some problem running some iso's. FW2.71se-c is much better at running iso game even w/ out using a UMD.

before i have a 2.71se i can play many psp iso game. but when i changed to 3.03oe-c some games i'm playing on 2.71se cant be played on 3.03oe...
