i bought a ps2 with a hdd and hd loader 7.0c i think it worked perfect until i putted new games on it (like God of War 2 ) it doesnt boot it just gives me a black screen so i found out their is a new version 8.0b i think so can someone tell me how can i install it and will it fix the black screen thing oh and please be specific bec i am new to these stuff thx for your posts

oke i used the 0.8b image and now i can run the new games but how do i let it open each time i boot the ps2 ?

Are you using the memorycard exploit or hdloader disc or modchip?

So how exactly do you load it?
Do you just turn the ps2 on and it auto loads hdloader?

I havnt really dealt with modchips before, but do you know what modhip do you have? What logo/menu pops up when you turn the system on.
