3.10 OE is custom firmware for the psp. It has MANY advantages, such as full-res video, overclocked cpu, and play downloaded games easily. You can only upgrade from 1.50.

Yeah you can recover back to 1.5 if u don't like it. Also you can recover from a semi-brick that way. You can play homebrew on it, but also have all the stuff from the sony firmwares too, and be able to play the newer UMD's, so it's best of both worlds.

if u get oe i would suggest (if it applies 2 u) getting devhook cuz dax cut out some of the official fetures in his firmware to cutback on flash usage such as locationfree player

I REALLY don't mean to be a party pooper, but why burn $400 on a LocationFree Payer, when there is a hack that lets you watch TV on the PSP WITHOUT ANY HARDWARE WHAT SO EVER. Very easy.
