PS2 LINUX HELP PLEASE READ!

I am trying to install Linux on my PS2.

I have 1 ps2 with the SOFTMOD and CogSwap, is it possible to install the 2 DVD linux with this?

Or by booting the disk's off a HDD?

Also I have a second Finiky PS2 With a MOD Chip, which one I dont know, and it boots the installer, HOWEVER after insterting disc 2 and then having to switch back to disc 1 the console will NOT recognize the disc.

Is there ANY!!! way to merge the 2 LINUX discs together because there combined size is only 2.5 GB!

Make them boot together ???

Would It be possible to just copy all the files from each disc onto one and have the system recognize disc 1 as 1 and 2 ??
