Xtreme Bootmaker Problems.. HELP!!

hey.. so i am attempting to flash my ms28 drive.. and using extreme boot maker. everything works great just like the tutorial.. until i finally hit prepare drive. im using a flash drive. there is an error message that says:

"The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed"

now what the f does that mean. iv tried two different flash drives and same result. it will put the files on the flash drive but won't boot from it when i restart. if anyone could help me that would be awesome.. thanks in advance
