hey guys, im trying to reinstall a fresh copy of windows sp2 into my laptop, everything works fine during the formatting, then it goes into installing windows and device drives etc,,, but when it reaches (34 min left for the installation) a blue page comes out with lots of white writing at is says that a problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage on your computer ,, then it has ( PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA) then it states to restar your computer make sure software installed correctly...., and i have tried restarting over 6 times and still get the error,, also in the error under technical information it has ***STOP: 0X00000050 (0XF7B2500C, 0X00000000, 0X805CD545, 0X00000000)
and
*** atiide2k.sys - Address f7b2500c base at f7b24000, Datestamp 40bf6f34

I have search on the internet on 0x00000050 and have found many different answers but still confused on how to resolve it,, i have a 2.6 g cpu, 60 g hdd, 64mb video memory, 512 ram,,
is there anybody that knows how to fix this problem please , i would really appreciated , THANKS TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

also i have another question where can i find the hdaudbus.sys on the internet, i dont have the hd audio drivers cd anymore and i need those drivers,,i have been looking for hours on the internet and i found that the drivers cannot be downloaded, does anyone know where i can get this drivers, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!

Use MemTest86 to test your memory modules.

Make sure the XP CD and the CD/DVD drive are as clean as they can be.

Drivers for older hardware can be found at DriverGuide.com.

i have alredy tested the memroy everything is working good ,, but i will try cleaning the dvd, and lens, if there is another way please let me know, THANKS..

for the first post, your hard drive may have physical damage, on a computer that my friend owned the same problem occurred, i popped in a new hd and the install worked fine, or maybe it's a coincidence.
